The game is best known for Liverpool's dramatic 4-3 comeback win, in which Stan Collymore scored the winner in the 92nd minute.
Newcastle were ahead of the game thanks to goals from Les Ferdinand and David Ginola took a 2-1 lead, but Liverpool equalized with a goal from Robbie Fowler. Newcastle then took the lead again with a goal from Asprilla, but Liverpool fought back to equalize 3-3 with a goal from Collymore. In the final moments of the game, Collymore scored the winning goal, securing a memorable victory for Liverpool.
The game is considered one of the greatest games in Premier League history and is considered by football fans still remembered as a classic encounter.
